Terms of Service

These terms govern bookings of House on Cass Lake in Waterford, Michigan. By booking, you agree to them. This is a starting template — please review and adapt it for your business.

Bookings & payment

• A booking is confirmed once payment is completed. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• The total shown at checkout includes the nightly rate, cleaning fee, any pet fee, and applicable Michigan taxes.
• Minimum stay and maximum occupancy (10 guests, up to 12) apply as shown.

House rules

• No parties (ask about events)
• Shoes off at entry
• No smoking inside
• Flush only toilet paper
• Wash all dishes before checkout
• Pets welcome
• Leave outdoor cushions in the greenhouse
• Keep sand in the sand pit

Pets are welcome for a $50 flat fee per pet, arranged in advance.

Check-in & check-out

Self check-in is available after 4:00 PM; check-out is by 10:00 AM. Check-in details are sent before arrival.

Cancellations

Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy.

Liability

Guests are responsible for their party and for any damage during the stay. The home is used at your own risk; we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property except as required by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
